When tax bills are due, the full balance or first installment may be paid at the Village of Albany through the end of January. If you only paid the first installment, the second installment will be due on July 31 and needs to be paid at the Green County Treasurer’s office, we cannot accept the payment at the Village Hall.
Tax information can be found on Green County’s website at www.greencountywi.org – scroll down and click on the round circle labeled Land Information & GIS; then scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen and click Land Records System; on this screen you will fill in the required fields to obtain your tax information.
On the County’s website, you will have the ability to print a current copy of tax bill, print a receipt, check tax payment information, verify delinquent taxes, calculate payoff information, check assessed values, and make payments, etc.
Check your tax bill and make sure you are receiving the Lottery and Gaming Credit, provided you are eligible. Please read the DOR Lottery Credit Flyer to determine if you qualify and how to apply.
