Open Book / Board of Review


Please take notice that the Village of Albany will be holding Open Book Hours for the 2022 Assessment Roll on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Albany Village Hall located at 206 North Water Street.  Open Book meetings can also be held by phone, email, or internet video conferencing.  You may call and if the assessor is not available at the time of your call, please leave a message with your name, phone number, municipality and they will make every effort to return your call within 24 hours.   You may contact the assessor at the following:

If you are not able to reach an understanding at the Open Book with the Assessor, you may call up to 3 days prior to the Board of Review to schedule your Board of Review meeting.  Property owners may review and examine the 2022 proposed property assessment roll and discuss their concerns with the village assessor at the Board of Review.  Unresolved 2022 assessment matters can be brought to the Board of Review, which is scheduled for Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 6-8 p.m. in the Albany Village Hall.  Objection forms must be completed to appear before the Board of Review; appointments are requested, please call 920-749-1995 for an appointment.
