2016 Fall Swim
YMCA SWIM LESSONS
Swim lessons through the YMCA Green County will be held from September 14, 2016 through October 26, 2016. Lessons will be offered every Wednesday for children in grades 4K – 5th. The bus will transport the students from the school to the YMCA and returning to the school around 5:40 p.m. The program includes a free swim time and a 45 minute swim lesson beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Sign-up is at the Village of Albany on a first come – first serve basis with room for 50 swimmers. Cost this year is $28 for members and $56 for non-members. The cost for bus transportation for the 7 lessons will be $4 for village residents and $8 for non-village residents. One check can be made payable to the Village of Albany.
Due to the school being released at 2:29 p.m. on Wednesday, the Albany Community Center will be offering child care from the time school lets out until the bus picks students up for swim lessons. The cost is $10 per child and is for the entire 7 week lessons. The Community Center requests two forms be filled out and turned in along with the money, first form is their standard form Permission Slip for After School Drop-In Program and the second form is the Permission Slip for Swim Session. Please fill out both forms if you intend to use the after-school child care program during the 7 weeks of swim lessons. The forms and money are due to the Community Center but can be dropped off at the Village Hall, a separate check made payable to the Albany Community Center will be needed for the swim child care.
